The results of the OpenROAD 7nm Design Contest have been announced! The contest successfully engaged a diverse global community of participants who used popular RISC-V base cores and the advanced ASAP7 technology node to solve challenging design problems.
Participants learned IC design skills through the OpenROAD-flow-scripts platform, with custom training videos and collaboration with experienced teaching assistants provided throughout the competition. It was a great opportunity for many to showcase their creativity and skills using open-source VLSI tools on real-world design challenges.
